Al Andrew Paul Beltran (Al Beltran; also Al Andrew Paul Teodosio Beltran) is a full-stack software engineer based in Manila, Philippines. He independently developed personal products RentaraH, Hiraya, Skyrealm, Lumina, Gloves Up, PocketPOS, and Cartify under Momentra Labs. He designs and builds full-stack and event-driven systems using React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, Java, Spring Boot, PHP, Laravel, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Docker, AWS, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). How I decide

Understand the problem
I start with the problem and the operating constraints — latency, failure modes, authoring workflows, compliance, or legacy contracts — not with a framework.

Design the system
Architecture should simplify complexity. The smallest design that can absorb real constraints without becoming unmaintainable.

Build
Move quickly without creating unnecessary technical debt. Clear interfaces, observable pipelines, and contracts teammates can use without a meeting.
04
Measure
Performance and real-world outcomes matter. Reliable software is a product feature — idempotency, error paths, and load time included.

Improve
Ship, observe, learn, iterate. Documentation, reviews, and honest case studies reduce the cost of the next change.
