Who writes this journal
Al Andrew Paul Beltran — also Al Andrew Paul Teodosio Beltran — is a full-stack software engineer based in Manila. He currently works as Software Engineering Lead at Anglian Dental in the United Kingdom. He is the founder of Momentra Labs. Previously he was a Software Engineer at Google via High Spring. Through Myridius he contributed to National Geographic and Disney enterprise platforms.
I design and build full-stack and event-driven software. My day-to-day work spans React and Node.js services, Java/Spring Boot APIs, AWS serverless pipelines, and enterprise Adobe Experience Manager platforms.
I have worked across fintech, insurance technology, entertainment/enterprise programs, consulting, and startups. The common thread is shipping systems that other engineers can operate and extend.
Engineering interests
The journal follows the same work as the portfolio: product UI in React and TypeScript, services in Node.js, Java/Spring Boot, and Laravel, data in PostgreSQL and MySQL, delivery on Docker and AWS, and enterprise authoring on Adobe Experience Manager. The Interview Lab exists because those interviews are how engineering teams actually hire.
